Cold Steel Rifleman’s Hawk
I’ve owned this tomahawk for three years now and it has
withstood hours of use. The most
rigorous action it has seen was cutting down a tree approximately ten inches in
diameter.
In addition to felling other small trees I’ve thrown it from
5-15 feet. During these throws, the head
of the hawk sometimes became loose, about once out of every 50-70 throws. This wasn’t a common occurrence and the head
could easily be repositioned so that it was stable.
A good friend of mine added a nice paracord handle to his, I’ll
eventually add one to mine to make chopping more comfortable.
